Level 1 Mental Capacity Act & DOLS

Mental capacity means being able to make your own decisions. This course is aimed to give the health and social worker the opportunity to explore the 5 main principles of the mental capacity Act and how they apply to every day practice. The course will also cover Deprivation of Liberty Safeguarding (DOLS).

Course Aims & Objectives:

  • To provide learners with a clear understanding about mental capacity and deprivation of liberty safeguarding
